Aww! I’m living proof it doesn’t happen in *all* polyamorous circles. That sounds like badly done {read: unethical} polyamory to me. There isn’t a limit to love, in my worldview. It grows exponentially.
I would think this situation is much more likely in monogamy, considering that monogamy requires you to be in only one relationship at a time.
